This Sunday the regional airport near my home town held their third annual aiport festival. It was filled with cool planes and they had a huge car show as well. Even had a pancake breakfast in the hanger. They we’re giving rides in old AT-6 Texans and little Cessnas which we took my son up in as his first plane ride. He got a kick out of it.

haha i just randomly noticed an event post for it back at the end of august and was like that sounds like a lot of fun. got super sunburned though

I need to pay more attention to pick up stuff like this - I’m maybe half an hour away, and combining airplanes and cool cars is basically heaven to me.

Was a gorgeous day for it, too - except for the sunburn!
